Olympians Display World-class Kindness

Get inspired by recent acts of kindness displayed by Olympians.

Maria Magdalena Andrejczyk, a Polish javelin thrower, announced via social media that she was auctioning off her silver medal to raise funds for an operation for 8-month-old Miloszek Malysa. When the Polish convenience store, Zabka, won with a bid of $125,000, they let Maria keep the medal.

We’ve all gotten lost before. Unfortunately for Hansle Parchment, he happened to be on his way to the Olympics to compete. A volunteer offered to cover his taxi fare, and Hansle went on to win gold. He then tracked down volunteer Tijana Stojkovic to pay her back for the fare and gift her a yellow Team Jamaica shirt.
