Walmart, often noted for leaving a trail of closed businesses behind and brawls during Black Friday, has recently started its move into the B2B FinTech space. Walmart partnered with Ribbit Capital (Robinhood, Credit Karma, and Affirm) to build a new Fintech Startup.
The company said in the release that “the venture will bring together Walmart’s retail knowledge and scale with Ribbit’s FinTech expertise to deliver tech-driven financial experiences tailored to Walmart’s customers and associates.”
