McDonald’s just opened its first fully automated restaurant in Texas. While some folks are worried about robots coming for their jobs, I see this as a major win for humans. Yes, automation is everywhere now but at least you can get a burger out of it. That’s definitely a better deal that John Connor had.
Partnership of the Week
Walmart and Salesforce shared some massive tech partnerships news yesterday. The retail giant is looking to sell more of its technology and services to other companies and sees Salesforce as the perfect partner to get more business. As Walmart Global CTO, Suresh Kumar, announced this partnership, he added that he was happy like a dog with two (re)tails.
️ A silver lining
As layoffs continue to make the headlines, here’s a good news to highlight: AWS was not impacted by Amazon’s 18.000 layoffs this week. This shows that Amazon has great hopes for what partnerships can bring to the table. Check out our Job Board and Open To Work channel for opportunities.
