On Wednesday afternoon, the New York City Council passed a bill that guarantees gig workers access to restaurant bathrooms, set maximum trip distance, and more. This revelation comes months after drivers protested the working conditions.
The IATSE, or International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, is also joining forces to speak out against low pay and seeking greater compensation for working on streaming-only projects.
