LimeWire Joins the NFT Craze

LimeWire is back for round two of nostalgia, now featuring NFTs (of course).

Originally known as an infamous P2P file sharing program in the early 00s, LimeWire is back with a rebrand as an NFT marketplace. It’s unsure whether or not the new LimeWire will stay true to its roots and include a complimentary virus with downloads.

The refreshed platform has already secured ties with some heavy hitter musicians like Travis Barker, A$AP Rocky, Dillon Francis, and more.

LimeWire is the latest nostalgic organization to be brought back to life with a crypto-inspired refresh. Several weeks ago, beloved antique tech retailer RadioShack was brought from the graveyard with a series of crude tweets that took Twitter by storm. We’ll let you Google that on your own if you’re curious.
