Airbnb is launching a new technology that aims to identify and block potential house partiers before they even get the chance to book a house for their weekend shenanigans. The change of policy comes after a recent string of troubling events that have taken place at rental properties in recent times.
While we appreciate Airbnb taking the initiative to address safety concerns for users, the ban on parties leaves an opening in the market for a startup that openly encourages get-togethers.
