FCC to TikTok: Kick Rocks

FCC to TikTok: Kick Rocks

Don’t let an innocent looking app fool you.

Vine 2.0 AKA TikTok AKA the site previously scrutinized by President Trump is once again in the spotlight. This week, the FCC has pressured Apple and Google to remove TikTok from their app stores.

The report includes a laundry list of offenses that TikTok has committed over the years such as: bypassing Android’s privacy safeguards to track users, accessing users passwords and cryptocurrency wallet info and private messages, and more.

So much for an innocent looking entertainment app, eh?
